Agility A2 Flex VR Teleoperation System | 27-DOF Open-Source Wheeled Dual-Arm Robot for Embodied AI & Robot Learning

Agility A2 Flex is a 27-DOF open-source wheeled dual-arm robot integrating mobile manipulation, vertical lift and whole-body VR teleoperation. It is available in Flex and Flex Ultra configurations: Flex supports teleoperation, development and demonstration data collection, while Flex Ultra adds enhanced perception, navigation and a VLA configuration.

Agility A2 Flex Ultra additionally supports VLA development and validation.

NOTE
- Agility A2 Flex can be paired with the optional ExoArm-7 Pro wearable exoskeleton and dexterous hands to expand its teleoperation and dexterous manipulation capabilities. Both accessories are sold separately.

Agility A2 Flex extends the Agility A2 dual-arm system into a whole-body mobile manipulation platform. Its omnidirectional base, vertical lift, dual arms, movable head and integrated control architecture allow the robot to move, observe, adjust its working height and perform manipulation tasks within one coordinated system.

Two Configurations Available
- Agility A2 Flex
Equipped with an X86 controller, a head-mounted RealSense D435i, ROS 2 real-time joint control, MoveIt 2 arm motion planning and whole-body VR teleoperation. It supports robot development and human demonstration data collection but does not include a VLA configuration.
- Agility A2 Flex Ultra
Adds an RTX 3090 GPU, dual RealSense D405 wrist cameras, Livox MID-360S LiDAR, a base-mounted RealSense D435i and Nav2 navigation. It also includes a VLA configuration for model training, inference and workflow validation.

- 27-DOF Whole-Body Robot
Combines a head, dual arms with grippers, vertical lift and mobile base in one coordinated 27-DOF system.
- 4W4S Mobility & Vertical Reach
The 4W4S base enables multidirectional movement, while the 700mm lift adapts to different working heights.
- Dual 7-Joint Bimanual Manipulation
Dual 7-joint arms with grippers provide an approximate 714mm range per arm for coordinated grasping and handling.
- Whole-Body VR Teleoperation
Control the arms, grippers, head, lift and mobile base through the included Meta Quest 3S for teleoperation and demonstrations.
- Multi-Sensor Whole-Body Perception
Flex includes a head-mounted D435i; Flex Ultra adds dual wrist D405 cameras, MID-360S LiDAR and a base-mounted D435i.
- Integrated Motion Planning & Navigation
Both configurations support ROS 2 joint control and MoveIt 2 arm planning; Flex Ultra additionally provides Nav2 mobile-base navigation.
- Flex Ultra VLA Configuration
A VLA configuration is included exclusively with Flex Ultra, with π0.5 as the default model for training, inference and workflow validation.
- Open Development & Scalable Computing
Built on Ubuntu 22.04 and ROS 2 Humble; Flex Ultra adds an RTX 3090 GPU for advanced perception and local AI computing.
- Flexible Teleoperation & Hardware Expansion
Supports optional ExoArm-7 Pro, dexterous hands, custom end-effectors, vision devices and OEM/ODM customization.
